Black Friday Travel Deals - Wanderlust on a Budget

It’s that time of year again! One of the craziest, and yet most favorite, seasons of the year. My aunt and I have a tradition of going out before the crack of dawn on Black Friday to get the best deals we can find. Hot coffee and warm gloves are a must! Especially since I’m not a morning person. But, this one day a year is the only time I’m willing to get up at 3am – and I don’t have a flight to catch. But, seeing as it’s the 21st century now, and so many of us do our shopping online, I’ve put together the best Black Friday travel deals that I can find for 2019.

Amazon

It’s no secret that Amazon is the headquarters of Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. You’ll find lightning deals all week on their Black Friday Countdown page.

Travel Tech

Seems that the newest Apple AirPods ($15 off on Amazon) are on everyone’s list this year, but don’t discount some of the other options available. They’ll do just as well to cancel out the annoying guy in the seat next to you on the plane! For example, these Jabra wireless earbuds are $70 off.

It should come as no surprise that you can also score some great deals on Amazon’s own tech products. Like the Fire HD 10 Tablet for only $100, or the waterproof Kindle Paperwhite (with double the storage) for $85.

If you’re looking for more ways to stay productive on the go, check out these tech products. The Fitbit Versa 2 is on sale for $149 – I love smartwatches because they make it quick and easy to check your messages and email. Without using your phone battery! But, if you do drain your phone, check out this Anker USBC fast charger on sale for just $25.99. You’ll have your devices charged in no time. The new Apple MacBook Air is $200 off at just $899, but will drop another $100 on Black Friday.

Photography Deals

Looking to get some great aerial shots of your next trip? The Holy Stone GPS Drone with 1080p Camera is just $109.99 after the $20 coupon. It debuted on Prime Day this year at $149.99 – so it’s $40 off! One of the best deals in photography is the Canon DSLR EOS Rebel T6 camera kit (with two lenses) at just $399 – nearly half off!

Here’s something I got myself last year to prep for my trip to Iceland – a waterproof camera! I hate when I’m snorkeling or scuba diving and can’t get photos of the amazing sea creatures I see.

Luggage Deals

Every traveler can always use new luggage. The more you travel, the more your luggage gets worn out, wheels get broken, things get dirty… This weekender bag is half off at $29 and even comes with a free toiletry bag! There’s also a coupon to save an extra 10%. Keeping your stuff organized in your luggage is also important – and I swear by packing cubes. Save a few bucks on this set!

I’m sure you know by now that Expedia is my favorite site to book travel, and it’s the site I’m on all day Black Friday and Cyber Monday, refreshing for the hourly deals. They aren’t easy to snag though; they go fast! So be ready and know what you want.
