Stay Strong Volleyball Tournament for Suicide Prevention

The 4th Annual Stay Strong Volleyball Tournament is happening on Saturday, September 14th to raise money for the American Foundation fro Suicide Prevention. The more I’ve volunteered with the AFSP and the more I’ve spoken up about mental health, the more I’ve learned just how many people are affected by suicide.It’s my goal to continue having these conversations. Continue reminding people it’s okay not to be okay. Continuing to support anyone in need.

If you are interested in playing, sign up at https://thebeachatsharkeys.com/tournaments/261/details – but you don’t have to play volleyball to come support the event! We will have 50/50, special drinks, music, AFSP information, and lots of raffle baskets!

As in previous years, I will also be selling shirts for $15, with all proceeds going directly to AFSP. The back of the shirts lists the names of people we have lost to suicide – if you have a name you’d like to add and/or you’d like to purchase a shirt, please let me know by 8/31.
