Celebrate with Turning Stone 30th Anniversary Events All Weekend Long

This weekend, Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, New York is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The calendar is filled with limited-time dining menus, casino promotions, and other special events. The award-winning resort is known for its excellent dining, golf course, event space, spa, and more. And this weekend they are celebrating the Turning Stone 30th Anniversary – looking back on the past thirty years and looking forward to the next thirty.

Turning Stone 30th Anniversary Dining Specials

Four of Turning Stone’s award-winning restaurants have prepared signature, limited-time dishes that will be offered this weekend only. So stop by the casino between Friday, July 21 and Sunday, July 23 to try these dishes while you can!

Pino Bianco

Turning Stone’s award-winning Italian restaurant, Pino Bianco, is serving up one special dish for the anniversary: Hand Formed Agnolotti. The dish features house-made pasta, jumbo lump crab, tomato confit, basil, and a sweet corn velouté. While I didn’t have the chance to try it – since they were actually making the pasta when I visited – it sure sounds delicious.

TS Steakhouse

I’m so grateful that the casino invited me and a friend to come preview the TS Steakhouse‘s 30th anniversary specials. It was hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. From swapping out the napkins to match my dress, to consistent and genuine check-ins throughout every course of our dinner, the service was phenomenal.

First up was the Beef Toast appetizer. A charcoal-colored plate featured four crispy brioche triangles. Each of them was topped with melt-in-your-mouth braised beef rib, scapes, chanterelle mushrooms, and jus. I love how the decorated the plate with various dots of horseradish cream. This dish absolutely bursted with flavor.

Moving on to the entrée, the Filet Mignon Butcher’s Cut. The generous hunk of beef is first marinated in Wahta Maple Syrup (sustainably harvested by the Oneida Indian Nation). Once seared, it is served with puréed garlic potatoes, a citrus-glazed carrot, red watercress, and an herbed bone marrow butter. Holy moly, this is one of the best steak dinners you will ever have. And remember, it’s only available this weekend, July 21-23.

The Upstate Tavern

Trying the boozy milkshakes at The Upstate Tavern has been on my list to do for a while. So when I discovered that the 30th anniversary specials included a signature boozy milkshake, I was sold. The decadent milkshake features strawberry ice cream, blueberry and raspberry vodka, berries, cherry syrup, and whipped cream. It’s topped with signature 30th anniversary chocolate, mini white chocolate stars, and gold-dusted strawberries. It’s “berry” delicious!

Wildflowers

Out of all the restaurants at Turning Stone, Wildflowers is the most decorated in terms of awards. Most notably, the restaurant has received 4-star awards from both AAA and Forbes, among other accolades. So you know that their 30th anniversary specials are going to be great!

Wildflowers has two signature dishes scheduled for this weekend. First is the Seared Scallops. The scallops are highlighted with Frog Hollow peaches, Iberico ham, and peach salsa. The second dish is a special Lamb Tenderloin. This dish features a cherry cardamom gratin, pomegranate-molasses crispy Iberico ham, pearl onions, and a chocolate pan sauce.
